National Wildlife Centre Named Official Charitable Partner
Caledon, ON – TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley is proud to announce the National Wildlife Centre as the Official Charitable Partner of the 2025 Osprey Valley Open, an official PGA TOUR Americas event July 28-August 3. The partnership will raise awareness and support for the National Wildlife Centre’s mission to provide critical veterinary care and rehabilitation to native wildlife, while fostering education, conservation, and environmental stewardship across Canada.
The Osprey Valley Open has been hosted annually at TPC Toronto since 2018, with each year’s event donating funds towards local initiatives and organizations. The 2025 tournament will shine a spotlight on the groundbreaking work of the National Wildlife Centre and raise vital funds to expand its programs and outreach.
Established in 2014, the National Wildlife Centre (NWC) works at the interconnection of humans, Canadian wildlife, and the environment through a ‘One Health’ concept. The NWC helps native wildlife through programs aimed at conservation goals to protect ecosystems, populations of wild animals, and the health of individual animals and seeks to be recognized for leadership, creation and transfer of knowledge to others, highest quality and standards, and excellence in caring for wildlife.
“We are thrilled to be named the Official Charitable Partner of the 2025 Osprey Valley Open,” said Dr. Sherri Cox, Co-founder and Medical Director of the National Wildlife Centre. “This partnership represents an incredible opportunity to expand our reach and connect with new supporters who care deeply about wildlife and our shared natural environment.”
With its Phase One opening of a new Wildlife Field Hospital in Caledon in May 2025, the NWC has already seen approximately 550 patients and 84 species since opening approximately eight weeks ago.
“The demand for services is overwhelming and we want to continue to help any sick and injured wild animals we can. We operate fully on grants and donations, and while the Caledon community has been incredibly supportive so far, we are in need of funding to support medical supplies, equipment and programs. The support from TPC Toronto and the Osprey Valley Open is incredibly meaningful as we aim to pursue our mission for generations to come.” added Dr. Cox.
The National Wildlife Centre is also pleased to announce it will host its 2025 Gala for Wildlife fundraiser event at TPC Toronto on October 9th, 2025.
“The National Wildlife Centre embodies a spirit of care, dedication, and community that resonates deeply with our team,” said TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley President Chris Humeniuk. “We’re incredibly proud to partner with and provide support to an organization doing such important and meaningful work in our community.”
The 2025 Osprey Valley Open will take place from July 28 – August 3 on TPC Toronto’s Heathlands course as the world’s top up-and-coming players compete to take the next step on the path towards the PGA TOUR.
