Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates to support Osprey Valley Open as presenting sponsor
Tournament officially re-named Osprey Valley Open presented by Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates as part of multi-year agreement

Caledon, Ont. – The Osprey Valley Open announced today that Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates will support the Greater Toronto Area’s own Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada event as a presenting sponsor starting in 2019. 

A global building materials supplier with historical roots in Ontario dating back to 1912 and two cement plants operating under St. Marys Cement Inc. (Canada), Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates will officially partner with the tournament as part of a multi-year agreement, with the tournament officially re-named the Osprey Valley Open presented by Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates.

Taking place July 8-14 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, the Osprey Valley Open presented by Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates is the sixth event of the 2019 Mackenzie Tour schedule, where players compete to advance one step closer to the PGA TOUR by earning status on the Korn Ferry Tour.

 “We’re delighted to have the support of a respected multinational organization with local ties to the Caledon area like Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates for the GTA’s own Mackenzie Tour event,” said Tournament Director Brad Parkins. “This partnership will help us continue to grow the event both in terms of scope and community impact as we enter our second annual playing this week at TPC Toronto.”

Taking place July 8-14, the Osprey Valley Open presented by Votorantim Cimentos – CBM Aggregates is the sixth event of the 2019 Mackenzie Tour schedule, where players compete to advance one step closer to the PGA TOUR by earning status on the Korn Ferry Tour.

The 156-player field will compete for a $200,000 purse on TPC Toronto’s North course, with the 72-hole competition concluding on Sunday, July 14. 

Last week, the tournament announced that it will once again support three local charities – the Bethell Hospice Foundation, Caledon Community Services and the Credit Valley Conservation Foundation – again in 2019 after donating $50,000 via Community Charitable Trust the previous year.
